We are looking for a postdoc in Natural Language Processing and Computational Narratology or Stylometry.
The position is available at Center for Humanities Computing Aarhus, Aarhus University (AU) Denmark with a starting date after July 2021.
The topic is within the FabulaNet project funded by the Velux Foundation. The project’s overarching goal is to support transparent quality assessment of written fiction in editorial decision-making and creative writing. FabulaNET is developed for multilingual data and involves extensive collaboration with subject-matter experts from Literary History. The postdoc is expected to work on language-related tasks, such as application of neural language models to written fiction, extraction and integration of narrative structure from multilingual data. The postdoc will be working in an interdisciplinary team of literary scholars, computational scientists, and research software engineers.
The position is available for 24 months full-time research
