I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. I graduated in theoretical physics and in English studies (specialised in translation) and I am a novice translator. I conduct research on methods of data analysis, neuroscience, as well as stylometry and quantitative linguistics. Currently, my main interests are interdisciplinary applications of mathematical tools (analysis of complex networks, analysis of time series, random matrix theory) and machine learning.

Currently, I serve as a Coordinator of DigiWorld, one of seven Priority Research Areas in the Strategic Program “Excellence Initiative” at the Jagiellonian University.
