As part of the Data-Sitters Club project, I’ve put together a short survey on Python vs. R for computational text analysis. We’ll be publishing one of our “books” on it towards the end of the summer. Fundamentally, the audience is people new to text analysis who are thinking about what programming language (if any) they should learn.
